Overview
ESE 6150: F1/10 Autonomous Racing Cars, also known as RoboRacer / F1TENTH, is Rahul Mangharam’s hands-on autonomous-systems course at Penn. Students develop an autonomy stack on a one-tenth-scale vehicle, bringing algorithms from simulation to physical racing.
Topics
The course connects sensing and perception, localization and mapping, motion planning, and vehicle control. Students build and test their systems through practical assignments and racing challenges.
